This film had great potential, but it was all wasted.
A way the film could have been redone is by getting rid of misty island and putting the logging company on the northern part of sodor, that way the tunnel would have made more sense.
The logging locos also had a ton of wasted potential. Bash and dash finishing each others sentences should be reduced a bit. And having Ferdinand only say "that's right!" Once each episode would be great because it can still be a running gag, but also a funny one.
See, when you actually think things through, you can actually achieve something great.
