Well, it was actually one of the grounded-in-reality types. Not like slenderman or supernatural stuff, but...
An entire crooked police sect that works with a sex trafficking ring, while the story itself follows a girl that escaped and a guy who witnessed it, all of which takes place in a rural area.
I could try and find it, because it's hard to explain, but it had nothing to do with monsters or the supernatural.
