It's a good idea, but taking a photo that matches angle, perspective, depth of field, etc, all exactly, would probably be near impossible, even if the drawing were completely accurate. It'd be far simpler just to take a photo that's pretty close, and cut the lines away altogether, simply lay the coloured portion over the top, and then it kinda defeats the whole point of drawing it.
The ironic thing is that people will only help an artist when they respect their art, and if I were good enough to be respected, I wouldn't need the help.
