The year it takes place is the same as Fallout 4, just about 5 years later in the year 2282. For the home of the main protagonist is Vault 69 which the vault is located in the state of Pennsylvania outside the city of Philadelphia. Now I had edited the lore of the Vault 69 to being an all-female vault, now to be wondering on how do they have offspring if there are no males in the vault? Simple, A breeding machine.
Vault 69 lore:
Vault 69 is located on top of a cliffside overlook, just above & behind the vault lays an old junkyard. Upon entry to the vault, you will learn that the vault can accommodate over 1500 dwellers, the current population for the past 200+ years when the world went to shit is about 573 dwellers. The vault is a self-sustaining vault that can produce its own food and clean water. The is a controlled vault but with a twist, it is an experimental vault but the test that is being run is the effect of one single bloodline running the vault with an iron glove, basically a dictatorship. so far it has been a "peaceful" life in the vault.
(note, I will try and get concept art for the vault in the near future.)
"NPC" lore:
For the "npc's" it's gonna be your typical raiders, children of atom, Ghouls, The Brotherhood to Enclave, automatrons, Bloatflies to Deathclaws. Now a fact that "Super mutants" aren't gonna be looking like humans instead they're gonna look like massive hairless gorilla's, I am gonna keep the Monkey characters to a very minimum state, do to not wanting any relationship between monkeys & super mutants. So the only species of monkey's I will allow (for now till idea's for more monkey species come to mind) is "Spider monkeys".
There will be events where we will see "Creatures" from any of the other titles of fallout including 76, in example Mothman & The scorched beast.
Now in this universe of fallout, the Enclave has been beaten but they still linger around and slowly rebuilding the faction and continue there 'mission' to restore America to its former glory. Now there will be returning characters from the three titles, Fallout 3, NV, 4. Due to them being very close together in the timeline. Yes, that includes our favorite settlement boy Preston.
Location lore:
For the locations in this series, we will actually be traveling across the wasteland from the east coast to the west coast and even somewhere in the middle. And we may even go to other countries that are managing to survive the post-apocalypse, now from what facts I learned from both fallout & real life is that in the event of total nuclear warfare the only listed country's can survive and even manage to 'rebuild' are as followed, America, Russia, China, and India. Though China might not be around anymore.
(more info to come later)
Transportation lore:
Now for transportation, Now I know cars and such have been rusted away after 200+ years after the great war, but the lore I did find in Fallout 1 & 2 is that it's possible to resurrect a vehicle or two if you know what you are doing, for starters yes everything is powered by atomic energy but there should be other types of machinery like coal-powered vehicles like locomotives or steamships or old sailing ships that managed to survive all these years, hell even old atomic powered ships if there seaworthy. I mean in New Vegas the faction [Boomers] have a restored and working bomber plane. So vehicles aren't that far off of working in the wasteland if you have the time or knowledge to fix one up or even the caps to buy one.
I have opened up a small group over on discord for those who like fallout and would like to join along with others and have a place to chat about fallout, discuss ideas for group projects, or if you like to show off your builds. Then come on down to the official Furrout discord group!
Looking for some admins to help run the group.
