But I do feel for your loss. I've lost my cat before as well... well he was a kitten... got torn to shreds by a dog... but if you ever want to talk or just whatever you can send me a message. I'm a great listener and I don't judge.
Again I'm sorry and hope you feel better soon... I know that you'll see Asheti again one day (I really hope you're not Atheist >< )
I will miss ashati as well even tho I never met her... She kept u good company for a long time ands that's y I think she was a great cat :)
but we can't dwell in the past for too long... We have to think more positive and look to the future :)

Take all the time off you need though. If you want to start drawing again, do so. But don't do it for the wrong reasons. Do it because it is fun, not to please your audience. We will be here and your art *will* be appreciated whenever you're ready to share again.
This work wonderfully expresses the pain and emotion that comes from a loss like this. It's a wonderful piece, that really represents what Ashati meant to you.

Mine do. I just wish I could pet them and listen to them purr. I will always have my memories.
My dog Kästle died back in 2005 and I still get teary when I take notice of her ashes on the cabinet.
I know how you feel. Last Saturday was the anniversary of my dog's death. He was the greatest dog, one of a kind.
This picture alone brings me to tears.

I really couldn't believe that she couldn't feel the same affection for those lovable creatures that they showed to a perfect stranger! I wish I could have taken them, actually, they probably would have been much happier here :/
