I've been spending the last couple days working on some props for the next game of The Shadow of the Dog Lord Roleplaying Adventure Game and thought I'd show you all one of them. Not to be satisfied with my usual "placing the thing on the creme carpet and snapping a picture", I shoved everything over on my dining room table and made a mediocre still life, lighting it with over half a dozen candles and including little bits like the calligrapher's brush and razor in with it.

This prop is the warrant for the arrest of one of the player characters, Callidus the dog, who stood against Fenrir in the last game. This session will be a rather intrigue based one (assuming some of the new players can deal with that :-P ) as the party tries to reach the safety of Ragnar's Keep, a stronghold in Dar-Koldor, while avoiding being caught by the sorcerer Grimnar and his Secret Police.

I'll have more warrants for the game, I just wanted to show y'all this one. The final version will have a painted portrait of Callidus in the box.

Sorry about the bad lighting also, I wanted to have a red glow from the candles and only had a very limited number of red candles at my disposal.
