A silent phantom, galloping across the coral mountain side, making leaps and bounds without causing a sound or disrupting ground. So rarely sighted, that bearing witness to a brief glimpse of the beasts side is considered an achievement. So little known, an enigma, summoning squalls and lightning storms using unknown, undocumented power. In a flash it appears, and in a flash, it vanishes, gone for a lifetime. The ghost of the highlands, phantom of the New World, hidden but watching, always watching.

The first part of my series of Monster Hunter drawings. I decided to start off with Kirin because of some recent gameplay I had. Tough pony, but easy when you know what to do.
