Mostly new for '58! From SLOD!
I'm going to start uploading more of these little sketches I do. It's the only way to keep from going three months without an update. This man is trying to sell you a car. Don't buy it it's horrible.

The seat slides reeeeeeeal far back. You get in, with the salesman insisting that the suspension is strong enough for three of you. There doesn't seem to be anyway to sit in the seat that doesn't cause your belly to sound the horn, so the salesman pulls a fuse from underneath the dashboard and it stops. You start the car and hear the sound of the muffler rattling against the ground.
Vwery interesting.... headlights from the 59 Oldsmobile, frontal chrome bar from '58 Oldsmobile, side rear chrome from '57 Oldsmobile, rear tail lights and fins look like a '57 Ford, and the front grille custom from 58 Chevy/Pontiac.
Does it have push button automatic transmission?

Toro does that. He knows a lot about these things. I drew a 1959 Buick for my character once and called it a Buick Century because it seems right that Ahundred would drive a Century. While looking at an old brochure for reference I noticed that they didn't make a Century in '59, the last one was made in '58 and the name wasn't used again until '73. I thought no one would possibly know that besides me and who would care really, but Toro was there and helpfully pointed it out.
In response to your first comment, I can't really seem to make up a car without combining a bunch of other cars, though when I started out I noted that the frog-eye headlight thing had never been done with the far-apart quad headlights that Oldsmobiles used. Copying a bunch of other cars and combining it into one discordant mess might be the way SLOD does business.
As you drive the car off the lot you realize that whereas the "sport suspension" is as advertised very firm in the front, the rear suspension appears to be made of blancmange; the four-speed-transmission is a three-speed with a "4" painted on the knob below the "3;" the variable power-steering turns the power-steering off with a "thud" at any speed above twenty miles per hour; the seatbelts are held into the floor with drywall screws; and the SLOD "Rocket-matic" 399 says "ZIL CCCP" on the valve cover.
It grows on you and despite the extremely poor build quality and questionable design, the engine being from the Soviet Republic refuses to die and provides sterling service for over 200,000 miles. SLOD goes out of business shortly after you buy it and after only three payments they start coming back to you marked "return to sender." You love your SLOD and she loves you.
So clearly you must be a fan of vintage cars to have such cool renditions of them in your gallery. I'm glad
Toro is a fan too, because it was really neat to read his comment. I must admit personally I like a lot of older car designs but a lot of information about them goes way over my head. You can tell you put some good detail into this though, even including the inscription I can just barely not read behind the headlight. I also really like the shading here, you cross-hatch remarkably well.
Though I've got to say my favorite part is how well you nailed the stereotypical used car salesman look, down to the suit and everything. The keywords made me laugh too-I'm sure when people search Furaffinity for "10-year-drivetrain-warranty" they'll be glad you're here.
Thanks again for sharing your artwork! It would be great to see sketches like this if it's not too much trouble for you to upload them, especially ones like this where you've put so much detail into it. Whatever you decide to do, good luck with everything! ^^

It is a cool looking car, but the sales man made me think of a guy who tried to sale me a new Plymouth Breeze when I went on a lot to look at another car that I can’t recall what was. It was a four door and I couldn’t get into the front seat so he suggested that they could take out the back seat and move the front one to the back. He never would show mw the car I went there for. I didn’t go back to that car lot ever again after that.
