Well, you guys wanted it, so... yay Cynder!
As I have said, my introduction to this series was through Skylanders, and from that, Cynder was the first character I played as in that game, (she was my main character, essentially). Funny thing is, when I first played Skylanders, my cousin's TV didn't have any sound, that day, so I mistook Cynder as a boy, until they corrected me, telling me she was a girl. And I really liked this character, as I've always liked dragons. Never thought I'd be drawing her someday, but here we are!
While I didn't like the legend trilogy as much, I can say, I still very much love Cynder from that series, (although my favorite depiction of her comes from DoTD).
like my Legend Spyro, Cynder's design comes from Dawn of the Dragon as well. In fact, very much so, personally I prefer the dark indigo colored Cynder as apposed to black / dark gray colors from the first two games, as it makes her pop out more. but that's my taste, I also had a lot of trouble drawing her head the first time, but... I ultimately got the hang of it. I also originally wanted her armor to be silver like that one set in DoTD, but after I tried black, I just HAD to go with it! giving her a more 'Dark knight' sort of look.
I don't really have much for Cynder's Story at the moment, but it's mostly similar to the games.
Cynder is almost, if not just as strong as Legend Spyro, she is also a lot quicker than him when it comes to attack speed at the cost of some amount of defense. Her sword was a gift from the Master, Malefor himself, who also trained her in combat.
Due to Malefor's Corruption, Cynder is capable of utilizing multiple elements and a wide range of moves associated with them, and similar to Spyro, she can also weld the power of Aether allowing her to fire a powerful purple beam of energy. Cynder has slightly more mana than Spyro and tends to be more conservative and refined with her powers.
Cynder is also Legend Spyro's Girlfriend / Partner. and the two share a strong bond with each other.
