This was another project for the same class, this time I did the Black Dog, which is a legend from European stories, mostly. Scottish and English, I believe.
In case you couldn't tell, that's a noose around his neck
But all I can think of when I see THIS is that episode of The Mighty Boosh when Saboo is making fun of Dennis for his n00bish drug reactions and imitates him "I thought I saw the black dog"

I really like the fiery glow from within the dog and within the grave he stands upon. I think those two aspects worked beautifully in contrast to the dark and gloomy setting and to set the connection to the theme between them. The design of the hound works nicely for having a nightmarish appearance to him and I think the overall composition of the piece worked rather nicely overall.
