A comparison of my XL 2 way tricot daki (in back) and one of standard peach skin dakis (in front). The tricot daki is stuffed with poly fill. As you can see the fabric is much more elastic and conforms to the shape of the filling. The standard is stuffed with pillows. The fabric is stiffer which I actually prefer. The tricot can be somewhat rough and bumpy due to the filling. The tricot colors are more true to the artwork, but are lighter. The peach skin is pretty close too, but the fabric has a bit of a sheen to it. The XL daki is obviously a good bit longer and wider. It may not seem like a bad thing, but it also translates to a fatter daki especially with elastic fabric that can stuffed even more which makes hard to cuddle. Overall, I prefer the standard peach skin. The XL is a bit big even though it is life size, but it is too much pillow. Standard is a bit smaller than life, but it is very huggable. Peach skin is a very good fabric for printing on even if not the best and it maintains a good pillow shape. It is also cheaper than tricot.

A good way to look at is: you sleep with a daki and sleep next to an XL daki.
