my beloved  aramis-dagaz and I are part of a Dungeons and Dragons Campaign with his long time friend Rob and another friend of mine.

In recent years I find myself more and more drawn to playing my male characters in roleplay and while my first attempt was with a DND version of Garret Silver, I found that as much as I liked Silver as a character, he was not suited at all to proper adventuring. (especially not without Artemis)

So I tried again, re-rolled, and turned Darius into a DND character. Similar background Different story. Still a Human-appearing-Darnathi. And the big snarky lout has fallen for one of our DM's NPCS. Who is based Heavily on Carmen Sandiego.

For those DND nerds who are curious, Darius is (as of writing this) a Level 4 Rogue, and sports an array of weapons including two flintlock pistols, a sword cane and a few daggers.

He is SO much fun to play in this setting.

But to iterate again This is NOT Aukateverse Canon at all. Just an adorable AU where Darius is smitten for a thief.

... I guess some things never change.
