Monster and Rabid being outside in the snow... apparently at night. Rabid doesn't handle the cold so well so Monster (he must have come from a tundra or a freezing bog somewhere) curls around the already curled canine to keep her from freezing. His warm smooth body and comforting protection from the bitter cold. Just before Monster slowly closes his walking/waking set of eyes, snow flakes begin to drift down....
yes, I know this should be in scraps. Yes, I know the quality of this piece isn't the best... but I really like it. So thats why its here.
Monster has four eyes, the big pair is for hunting and observation, they see in infared and heatwaves, mostly. (they don;t really have eyelids, more like membranes that slide over the eyes when protection is needed. IE in a fight or underwater or such)
The smaller pair are his walking or waking eyes, eyes that close when he is sleeping. They see in color and in the dark. They have two full eyelids (actual skin that blinks and such).
Altough he is a reptile, he is not covered in thick 'dragon-like' scales, they are very small and tightly nit so that his body feels like that of a snake's underbelly. But a lot thicker and without the ridges of the rectangular scales...
thats a quick detail about Monster that y'all NEEEEEDED to know *rolls eyes*
