Another one for my cover series.
Act Raiser was a game released on the SNES. I actually took some time to play it and, even with its erm...very, VERY cheesy translation and overall theme, it's a pretty fun game. It combines some rpg, world building and dungeon crawling elements which made it a hit with a lot of people back then. Sadly the second game was received a bit poorly. I honestly did try to get into it but got frustrated with just the first level. I may try again in the future. I am not sure if I can recommend this, since again, it may be a turn off for those that are anti-religious. If you can overlook some of the (again) cheesy translations and tones, it's a decent game.
