Story 1

Furfect Christmas

It is a big snow mess out there Mike said to Jake. Jake turned to face him and nodded at him, then said “we need a Christmas tree and I am going to get one okay you get the hot coco ready Hun okay.” He looked back at the small red fox. The red fox step up to him and hug the big husky and said to him. “Please be carefully okay.”
Jake stepped outside and ran to his car. He got in it quickly then started it and went off. His poor mate looked at the car for as long as possible snow the blizzard was very strong. He went in the basement and grabbed the decoration. He set them on the floor and went to make some hot coco. He got it ready and looked out the window for his mate but saw nothing.
Then all of a sudden the telephone rang he jump and yip a little too in surprise. He ran to the telephone picked it up and said hello... hello... A female’s voice was on the other line. “oh mom” mike said.” how are you.” He talked a little she then asked where’s Jake honey. Mike’s ears flatted on his head, and he said in a tone so she would not think he was scared out of his mind for him right now. “Oh mom he’s getting a tree for us and he should be back soon.” She was silent for a little and said “hmm you okay son.” He closed his eyes I tear ran down his face and he said, “Yes mother I am”. Fibbing through his teeth and she knew it. “Well okay I am at home if you need me okay love honey bye.”
Then all of a sudden a light was outside he hung up the phone and ran to the window. But it was just a snowplow and his heart sank even lower. He wished they bought cell phones for each other but they were to poor for that at least right now they were. Mike sat down near the fire place and warmed his paws a little. He the sighed and fell on his back closed his eyes and breathed very softly and soon fell asleep. He dreamed of Jake and his first time they met and how much fun it was. This was their first Christmas living together and now Jake was gone.
He woke up right away he heard tires in the drive way crunching snow. He got up and looked out the window it was Jake. He ran out forgetting to put warm clothes on but he did not care. He grabbed the husky and hugged him as hard as he dared to Jake did the same back. Soon mike started to shake he was freezing cold .then he started to walk but he stop he looked at Jake and said hmm sorry. It hurt a lot to walk in the snow without boots and of course he didn’t put any on. Jake grinned and pick mike up mike yip in surprised Jake carried him in the house and set him on the couch. He then turned and went back out to get the tree it was a white tree.
After he put up the tree he started to decorate the tree mike help too. When the tree was finished Jake put the star on the top of it. Mike sighed and hugged Jake softly and said “it’s perfect.” Jake grinned and said hmm I was going to give you this for our 3rd year anniversary but here. Jake pulled a ring it was a promise ring. Mike eyes watered up he sat on the couch and covered his eyes try to not let Jake see him cry. Jake said you to quick to cry you have always been that way. Just so you know you make this Christmas the perfect one for me and I wish to be your forever.
Mike let Jake put the ring on his finger he looked at Jake kissed him on the cheek and said you make this Christmas perfect for me too. I love you lover and I will always be yours too. Soon they went to the bedroom…
