Just as I was finishing up the ink on this, I heard something very positive. Turns out the director responded to the criticism that Sonic's design had received, and he's going to change it. So...this aged really well.
Anywho, I decided to just do some really quick finishing touches and get this posted before it becomes too irrelevant. I still think Robotnik's plan here was excellent. Perhaps I'll do a sister piece at some point where his plan backfires.

Nono my dude, this aged like any scandal-response piece does. It immortalizes something that someone tried to cover up.
I still can't believe Jim Carrey is doing Dr. Robotnik. Like seriously, there's NOTHING in common between the two. If you drew him, accurately to the movie's plot, I wouldn't have known what this was even about without reading it completely e_e
