Next up, that overworked, introverted mechanic, Grease!
When I first met Grease, back when we moved into Stagg Manor, I was pretty scared of him. He didn't seem warm and kind like Uncle Ro', Grandpa Buck, or even Raul. He was big, cold, and stoic. Never really smiled or talked, either, just toiled away in his garage. But when he did speak, it was cold and curt, even to me. I personally thought he hated me, so I did my best to avoid him.
But one day, I snuck to the forest to play, even though Uncle Ro' told me to stay away. I dunno, I was drawn to it for some reason. Anyway, while I was playing and exploring, I went and twisted my ankle. It hurt pretty bad and I couldn't move, and no one was around to help me. I got scared and started bawling my little puppy eyes out.
It was Grease that came to my rescue; apparently he'd been working in his garage when he heard my crying. He just scooped me up. He didn't smile once, but he did say something that changed my entire view of him: "Don't go running off again. I was worried something horrible happened to you." He promised not to tell Uncle Ro' as long as I stayed away from the forest, but that didn't stop him from giving me a good scolding.
He still doesn't talk much, but that's just him. He's a caring guy underneath that gruff.
