So this is a weird one, but its an idea i got randomly. So...all my characters actually wear boots (surprisingly...) so i thought i would sort of create a list of my OCs boots and do a sort of backstory/description of them as well as let you guys see the differences between them, from size, to sole design and upper details. Hope its alright XD.
Ken: The first pair of boots belong to my scalesona, Ken. They are a pair of black jungle combat boots that he actually stole from a soldier chasing him when he escaped from the lab where he was being experimented on. While not the bulkiest or coolest boot in my character line up, it does the job when the going gets tough, especially when Ken goes for a trek or goes overlanding (which he does often, there is a reason why he transforms into offroading vehicles). While they are actually 10 years old, they still look as good as new thanks to Ken's natural nano-repair (its part of the effects the nanites in him gives), which not only ensure the boot is in optimal condition, it also gets rid of odor and can even give the footwear a polish look for when the dragon wants to look somewhat presentable.
Shane: The next pair are the bulkiest and biggest boots out of all my characters footwear and it belongs to none other than my equally hulking Tyrantrum, Shane. The boots are black, all leather, tactical boots with steel toes to give the fronts extra strength and an imposing look to the giant footwear in general. Having gotten the pair when his old pair fell apart on his feet 9 years ago, Shane uses these boots for everything, from fighting off baddies on both the battlefield or when being a vigilante to even just walking around the house. 9 years later and after consistent wearing 24/7, they are still wrapped snugly around the meaty paws of Shane, with laces tied in such a way that only Shane himself can remove them. However all the wear have rendered the inside of the boots to be extremely musky, which isn't helped by Shane not even taking them off when he goes to bed (he only takes em off when he is in the showers). But don't let that stop you from chatting with Shane, he is always eager to make a friend. Just pray that he doesn't take these hulking boots off. (Though that being said, the boots now make for some great interrogation tools, in more way than one....) The extreme wear also results in the boot being more worn than they used to be but still pretty strong. However, as his laces are too tight, it forces people, who would like to do..stuff..to his smelly, sweaty paws, to rip the boots open, and as we can see from my past artwork, this has happened quite a number of time. Lucky for Shane he has Ken to fix em up everytime (Ken does it partially because the young dragon is typically the one responsible for ripping his boots). All in all, these boots are still tough, musky, bulky and imposing, perfect for Shane.
Terrence: The next pair are a pair of firefighter boots belonging to Terrence, my other Tyrantrum and Shane's father. Unlike normal firefighter boots (refering to the rubber ones) these are made from a mix of rubber and leather. While it may not be as fireproof, these still do the job surprisingly well (plus since Terrence can control fire, he kinda can do something about it). The boots have a yellow toe and a small yellow stripe along the side but most of it is black, including the laces and eyelets. While its normally supposed to be used for jobs, Terrence often wear em for his daily task too since they are quite comfortable. However unlike his son, he does take the time to air em and maintain them which allows them to last for quite awhile, as long as they don't get burnt.
Geo: Next we have a pair of extremely worn out work boots belonging to Geo, my Groudon android construction worker. The once light brown work boots with a black toe has since succumbed to 15 years of abuse and hard labor, since Geo's boss refused to give him a dime unless absolutely needed, forcing the Groudon to work these boots into the ground. The toes has since had a hole ripped into them exposing the steal toe inside and the boot leather scratched and peeled. The soles are pretty much bald and even have a deep crack in them but Geo still uses them even though he has an income now plainly because he finds their so comfy, plus he thinks it gives him character. the insides are also a little musky from Geo's sweating (some android models sweat to cool themselves at make them abit more relatable) but its mainly caused by when dirt and filth enter them from the sole crack, the boot opening itself or the rip in the toe, not that Geo really cares since he, like Shane, rarely takes his boots off, so unless you really want to smell em (in which than you'll have to peel the soles), you don't have to worry bout any foul smell.
Ray: These black steel toe work boots belong to Ray, yep, my other construction android, this time in the shape of a megalodon shark. Unlike Geo, Ray used to work under a construction company that cared for his wellbeing and thus his boots are still rather fresh and tough, which came in handy when he was forced onto the street when the company he worked for closed down. Now that he has a new home, he still uses these boots for work but can afford to take good care of them, though he isn't afraid of getting em a little dirty when he needs to, especially when he wants to lend a helping hand.
Desmond: Another pair of work boots, these slightly thicker, brown work boots belong to my only other dragon character Desmond, a hulking dragon that rivals Shane in stature but has a big heart like the Tyrantrum. He is also a hard worker and would often work these boots to their breaking point, even under the sweltering heat. Needless to say his boots would be pretty musky too but at least he takes em off when he sleeps...not all the time but still he does. While not being as beat up as Geo's, the hard work has weaken the boots, allowing Desmond to be subjected to the same style of 'attacks' as Shane, except Desmond sometimes enjoy them so try your luck i guess.
Sam: Next we have another pair of black tactical boots, this time belonging to my police officer wolf, Sam. The boots are just standard issue police boots but they have gotten some 'battle scars' from the numerous successful arrests Sam has made, in which Sam is lazy to patch up so he leaves the scratches there. It isn't uncommon to see him strutting around in them too even though he does have other shoes. Just don't try to steal em and you'll be fine.
Jace: And lastly we have Jace's boots (Jace is my recent komodo alien), which are a sort of blend between a work boot and combat boot. These were given to him by his father in support of his interest of being a car mechanic and racer. Made from alien fibers, the boots, which are black with red highlights, are designed to be strong and tough for work in an auto shop (or farm when he helps his relatives do farm work) while being flexible and light enough to travel around the rather inhospitable lands outside the cities of his home planet. Much like my other characters, he wears them everywhere but makes sure to spray deodorant in them, not that his feet smell bad in the first place.
And so there, whose boots are your favorite? Be sure to comment XD In the meantime have a good day guys

You certainly do have a lot of oc's that wear boots i am quite surprised. Though wow it's really hard to pick a favorite since all your oc's have unique boot designs though as well as backstories. Ken are quite very interesting from the backstory though that explains a lot that ken can be a bit mischievous from the shane entry. Though Geo really are unique considering they bring character.
