The rabbits aren't homogenous by any measure. The warrens exist in the underground, which is, uh, underground. Everywhere. The Minnly Warren is the largest cultural group and fills out most of the Iris, the tropical center of the world. They're also the most gregarious, wealthy, and adventurous culture group, so if you're going into the underground, they're the ones you will probably be dealing with.
But while you're down there you might have to deal with the other cultural groups, oops.
The Qaza Warren Rabbits are basically the entire opposite of the Minnly Warren Rabbits. While the Minnly Warren is cosmopolitan, integrated, and friendly, the Qaza Warren have strict social rules and roles, little interest with the outside world, and are basically Weird. Trackless Gait and Copse left a lot of Fun Things in the underground and the Qaza rabbits have their hands full dealing with that and don't need all these people coming in and acting like they're hot stuff when they ain't.
At least you ran into some rabbits, who you can, like, negotiate with. And not something one of the gods put there to make things more Interesting.
Funeral Napkin is a knicknack wizard constantly on the search for old, powerful artifacts and magic. When they find them, they nod their head and go "Mm, yes, now that's significant." Despite being a knicknack and utterly goblin they are a powerful wizard, just, they can't really GET how the world works properly. Which is why Robben Buskers is there to help out! Funeral Napkin saved Robben's life by accident and Robben follows along now as a dedicated servant and best friend, here to keep Funeral Napkin from getting into TOO many misunderstandings. They're on the search of some ancient fabled whatsit, and their rabbit guide has walked them right into a pair of Qaza Warren slave-soldiers who are upset a fellow rabbit is leading surface people to rabbit secrets.
Let's hope they can get out of this safely!

how does Funeral Napkin float with her puppet-strings? How are the control bars floating?
Because puppets are suspended on those strings, duh.
Why aren't those rabbits wearing any armor? Isn't that dangerous?
Glance's rabbits can see the future a moment ahead of time, so they're notoriously unpleasant to fight directly. Qaza slave-soldiers, who are conscripted and sent into the dark to distract, satiate, and maybe even kill a few monsters, who manage to survive long enough, tend to become way more powerful than appropriate. Most develop a narrative replacement where they believe their mantles are their armor, and, well, since that's how reality works, they're that much harder to kill.
Why isn't Robben armed?
Being a former professional troublemaker, he has an Inventory and stores several weapons inside himself where no one can take them away.

Why are they slaves?
Because when you own someone or something you're linked to it and are Aware of it and what it's doing. Strong bonds of ownership exploit this system so the rabbit bosses can command teams of slave soldiers remotely like an RTS. If you live in UWi you absolutely gotta take advantage of all the rules ok
