Yeah it's time to introduce you something kind of my own setting creatures <:D I named them yori (idk why, it just sounds good, I guess..) This guys have a large number of species, so here is only one of them. Fiery yoris called yori foku (yeah, it sounds really weird on english, sorry <DD). They look kinda like a hybrid of goat and shark and their skin coverd with thick coat, that warms them on the coldest days :>

First boy is a magician's student! Yep, yori may have magic abilities, but not all of them is able to use this power. Many yoris get their abilities through various rituals, but sometimes it can be dangerous for them, magic is a very strange thing and not everyone can take root on it. Also, the beads, that hang around his neck, are made of ruby :> This stone helps fiery magicians make his magic more powerful!

Second girl has no any abilities. She is too weak to use the magic. The darker the hair, the weaker fiery yori is. But she has small water spirit wich she use for her own purposes and this blue sad sausage is too soft to refuse to her, ahah :D There are often symbols of any sort of pepper and paprika on foku's clothes. It may be hairpins, shirts, bags, etc. Yeah, fiery yoris are big fans of any spicy food and flavoring!

Third little girl inadvertently set fire to a birch log :D Some yori can breath fire, but this ability is very rare and usually its possessor can't control it. This power doesn't require energy of any supporting gems and accessories.

And fourth one is mad old man. He was a warrior in the past and participated in the war against shadow monsters. But as a result he was cursed and began to turn into a shadow. Most of foku lives in north half of Ellrey, but this one has arrived from West, so his clothes looks a little different
