I just can't imagine Darke Katt in love.

What's love got to do with it?

Like the vast majority of employee's at ZZ Studios, Darke is pretty promiscuous and appears to engage in a fair amount of sexual activity. Really doesn't take an emotional connection for two to make a kid, all it takes is one slip up. And no amount of contraceptives or safe sex can really guarantee that something like this wouldn't happen. At that point the best you can hope for is to be on at least amicable terms with your partner for the sake of the kid.

That being said, Darke's bio has stated she's had a couple of different relationships in and out of the studio. I find it amusing that people have reacted so negatively to the thought of this one.

Not me. I'd never react negatively to any kind of relationship, even ones that people with my beliefs are supposed to abhor. As for Darke's relationships, I haven't seen too much about her, except for the drawings that Eric has released in which she's a character and I'd never seen her in the drawings in which this daughter was produced. I guess my reaction was based on the attitude that I did know that Darke had, i.e. grumpy, grouchy, bitchy, etc. But, to be perfectly honest, I actually like her. She makes things interesting where Zig Zag is concerned. LOL. Thanks for clearing up that misconception about her.

It's natural. People like what they like, I don't claim to always understand or agree with it but so long as it's not hurting anybody I honestly don't care one way or the other. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and people just need to learn to respect that instead of complaining about it.

Outside of the brief speaking cameos she's had in Sabrina Online, most of what I've seen of Darke has come from pics Eric has posted of her here, FAD, VCL, and a few misc pics I've managed to find here and there over the years. I've tried to match what I get with her with what I know about her as a character, but since those are generally adult pics it usually just translates to her being a rather aggressive lover. I added the kid to the mix because admittedly I liked the idea of spoofing what happened to Thomas & Amy and seeing how I could play out the dynamic of Rush and Darke after letting things go a bit too far.

Oh I love Darke, she is easily my favorite character out of the expanded cast of ZZ Studios. Given what's been mentioned about her life prior to the studio it makes sense that she generally comes off as hostile and aggressive towards others. honestly it's part of her appeal IMO.
