One of the fastest OmniMechs in the Clan arsenal, the Dasher AKA Firemoth is an interesting contender, if weakly defended. Only 20 tons, it moves about 216kph with the help of MASC. Pretty fast...

Missiles and lazors! WHEEEEE!!! I remember testing out against Dire Wolves in that thing in Mechwarrior 2.

Gyah. 'Twas hard. Especially since 2 didn't take into account that the rear armor was supposed to be weaker!

I aimed for the legs. Cockpit if I could help it. And also, Small Pulse Lasers hurt like an SOB in MW2. ;)

Yeah, I liked the Jenner variant, machineguns were also freakishly effective in 2 and 3.

Cockpit shots didn't do anything special that I remember, but I was playing the Playstation version.

The PSX version didn't differentiate between any torso section and the head. It was all one big body location that could absorb a great deal of punishment.

I noticed, or rather, didn't notice that about the Dasher. Two large laser hits to anywhere on my torso and then I was 'jecting.

Oh well, I became a better pilot for my troubles. *Cracks his knuckles.*

I know, but still, having to fight two Timberwolves, and then two Dire Wolves without repair, refit, or rearmament...I EARNED that Galaxy Commander rank tab. XP
