Aheria and her mate
A cute shot of the two of them out shopping for an ornament together, done as a request form
aheria for a fuzzy holiday ^_^
I'm sorry that I can't color it! My blue markers have been dying and need replacing =(
Critique time:
I expanded my arms "by force" as
anbessa suggested--I'm very pleased with the results. I...have no idea how I couldn't see it myself XD I guess it's one of those artistic blind-spots people develop. Seriously, I've been drawing all weekend and I can't believe the difference it makes.
This is the first dragon I've done in the past year that looks decent. I'm not happy with the wings, I admit I squished them a little to fit on the page and regret it now. This is the first time I inked black hair as black--my inking pen died as I was doing so resulting in some grayish areas, but a fresh pen fixed most of it. I went back and re-added highlights with a white gel-pen. My next art goal is to become more comfortable with lighting....and posing couples. After that: hands.

I'm glad you like! I love being challenged, it's good for me as an artist! It provided great practice and it was a reminder that i really do need to do more dragons, usually the only time i do them is at cons and I'm uncomfortable with them. I should change that ^_^
We used to have specific orniments for the cats.. little cotton balls on easily broken string, cat nip mice again.. on really light string... we learned fast even a kitten hanging off an ornament can take out a whole tree.. that is unless you fill the stand with an armfull of 1 lb lead ingots.
