I certainly hope my art would be more of an inspiration rather than an inhibitor. Never give up! You are here to be a creator. So you create. Its good to criticize yourself so that you can learn and progress. But not so much as to lose your way. I know you can do it. Just keep at it ^^
This was fun with no end. The first WIP took me already aback. And besides all the changes we went though (Fluke has a hell of patience) I spend more and more hours drowning in it. This one really fires my imagination.
I've a thing for lonely and wide landscapes and travel to the great canyons is something I want to do for a long time by now. Someday I will do. Well, until then this image will keep me at mood :)
It was inspired by three images/scenes: One illustration from the book "Raecheis - Der weisse Wolf" (I guess there's no english title available of the book). The scene from Simpsons where Homer sits on his car, watching the canyons far away in a night full of bright stars. And the end scene from the movie "Contact" where Ellie sits at the edge of the canyons, thinking of her past.
Fluke: thank you a lot. This one means lot to me :)

Oh. My. God. Fluke.
Do you have any idea how inspirational this is? I didn't think this would hit me emotionally at all, but it did. I almost cried, I'm serious. The lighting, the textures, and the general concept, its just beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking.
When you become famous I can say that I was one of the people who watched you evolve. Imagine what you are going to make this next year, there year after that, and so on. I can't wait to see what you have in store for everyone. I love you Fluke!!

Definately another wonderful piece. I've worked as a volunteer at the Grand Canyon. You definately did a great job providing the details of this park. Also the fox looks like hes deep in thought. I love how you caught the feeling of the moment. Keep up the great work hun ^^.
Absolutely beautiful!!! This piece reminds me of when I was a cub...I was camping with my family on the west side of the Grand Canyon. My mother and I ended up waking up early, and we sat and watched the sun rise over the eastern rim of the canyon. There was fog in the canyon, and seeing the sun rise over the horizon on the eastern side was just magical. That is what this piece reminds me of. Wonderful job.
pieces like this, the ones that aren't porn, that aren't meant to turn you on or just get a fave because they're sexy, these seem to be totally lost in this fandom. Hardly ever appreciated are the pieces you could hang on your wall and just go "wow.. that's beautiful.." This is an amazing piece, and I hope I find more like it.
The fox character there is way too much. It eats up the beautiful landscape painting. It needs something more simple, mayby a third colour beside blue and orange. But if you need to keep the character there, the composition should be much more dramatic to give the character the required attention. such like making the character smaller in the composition or making the image way more narrow.
