This is Calma by
CaptainMoke
CaptainMoke has done the interesting thing and thought to develop further on a nameless side-character that shows up early in Chapter 1 while Captain Avolc is incognito on the ship.
‘Calma has been on the crew for years now. While she doesn’t have the motivation to climb the ranks, she does have enough seniority to bully the new awe’s into line and assert herself as an authority figure. She isn’t so high up the ladder that she stands out, but she can make a newbie do half her work without a fuss! Her great grandmother was from the mountains, and it shows in her silver speckled fluff and thicker build for her young age.’
