Thankfully my stomach didn't give me too much trouble at Relay - mostly just a bit of nausea here and there.
I didn't get any Relay related injuries - well possibly not. Only problem was my knee, but I have problems with it occasionally. It's a little swollen today and hurts a little. My eyes are swollen, the rim of my eyelids sting, and they feel a but slimy. I'm not sure if it's from all the crying I did during the silent lap or from the couple of times I got fur in my eyes (Rhona still has a little bit of loose fur in her). I'm going to monitor it closely and make an appointment if it doesn't clear up.
At our team dinner after Relay we cast votes for our team awards. Edgewise was voted Most Congenial (our Friendly Ghost trophy). Our new Daniel was voted Most Helpful (our Helpful Shaggy trophy). Nyx was voted MVP (our Golden Scooby trophy).
I am beyond grateful for the efforts and hard work to make Relay enjoyable not only for our team, but everyone else - not to mention coming from all over to spent time in my little area (Raleigh, SC, and TX for example).
I'll be posting shortly out final count on donations.

It still blows my mind, that the very first Relay for our team started with only myself, Dan, Melissa, and my son to growing to 17 suited furs who were able to make it, 2 out of suit furs who could make it, and multiple other furs who were there with us in heart and spirit. It's so very humbling and sobering. We've come so far since 2012.
