Bruce Roolan's backstory, (feat. Jake and Roxie)
Here's the backstory of my kangaroo super merc "Boomerang" Bruce Roolan, in the style of my previous story on Champion Cheetah. Includes some background on his siblings Jake and Roxie, who may get their own stories, eventually.
The story takes place primarily in Australia and is narrated by Bruce in his Australian accent. I'm not Australian and I've never been there, but I can chalk up any inaccuracies to this taking place in an alternate universe of anthropomorphic animals, some of whom have superpowers :).

I like it! It's interesting that you tie Jake's backstory to the Crazies, but if the story where Bruce and Jake are captured by them is canon, it seems like the brothers are surprised by their effectiveness. That seems odd if the Roolans already know that King and company aren't insane, unless they weren't expecting to encounter them.
Good point :). I didn't come up with the connection until I wrote this story. I see two possible ways out. One is that I make the pictures the first encounter they had with The Crazies. And two is that The Crazies were still glorified pranksters the first time, but by the second time they'd hardened into legit supervillains. So the Roolans knew they weren't crazy, but expected them to be more pathetic.
