This here is a character that has appeared in one of my one-shots. This here is Aaron, a Honey Badger scientist that resides in the Lunar City. Unlike the badgers from Badgerton, the Honey Badgers are more what you'd expect from them. Cautious, self-protective and easy to throw someone else to the fray if it suits them. Basically, if you're not family, friend or of the like, be quite careful. That said, they're not all bad. Some of them do have standards and are genuinely friendly.
Take Aaron for example. Working as a scientist within a Lunar City lab, this Honey Badger works to bring forth a better, brighter future for Lunar City citizens, doing experiments and whatnot which aim to improve life. He's a bit more gentler than his kin. Just a bit though, in that he will not leave you to become a statue or the like without a second thought. That would be beyond him. He would only consider such a thing if it was the very last possible resort. Otherwise, you can trust him. He's the type whom wants to help, rather than hurt. A safe Honey Badger.


...Oh, what's that you ask? That form on the right? Well, that would be Subject Zero, A form Aaron is destined to end up in, after suffering an 'Unfortunate Accident'. Subject Zero (Zero is always spelled out, never the number 0) is a form Aaron ends up mutating into. All sentient thought and logic is gone. The only things that run around in his mind are two things. Eat and sleep. And when he eats, he is a danger to be around. He will stop at nothing to show you down his maw. And that's not the only way he can get you. His paw-pads are a gel-based substance that are capable of pulling anything in contact with them in, a direct absorption into his body. And don't linger too long around his belly. Else you could end up slipping down his navel/belly button.
Even being eaten by him is a danger. Subject Zero's magic core is broken, but not in the usual way. Instead of leaking magic, it is constantly absorbing magic. Even standing inches in front of him is enough to feel the pull of his core. If eaten, then whomever is eaten is absorbed and their core merged with the beast. There is no coming back from that. Luckily, Subject Zero doesn't roam around. He is just kept in a high-security pen by his former employers, where anyone who betrays them is assigned to 'look after Subject Zero'.
