-Who am I?
A sad snek.
-But... why?
Because I decided it'd be cute!
-Oh god my existence is a lie!
Yes, keep doing that! Perfect...
Neo Fae, my adorable snek character!

She's usually chipper, so I think good things are on her horizon :)
Thankyou! I did purchase her original design, though a lot of what you mentioned is effected by my own tweaks.
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/lumixdragonfey/ deserves a lot of the credit as well :) That's the original creator.
Thankyou so much for your kind words ^.^

Sorry for the late reply!
Have you seen my other art of her?
I'm hoping to work out a agreement with the origional artist for her to be in a book series that's a bit of a pipe dream for my beau and I. Esentially, she's a mythological Naga that wondered to Egypt because Naga are treasure guards by instinct. She liked that egypt matched her cobra astetic, and she started painting herself with those gold marks. There's also a possibility that far in her lineage is a touch of Quetzalcoatl's (The feathered serpent gods) blood, or that her people bewitched themselves to honor him, not really sure yet. I just need a excuse for feathers haha.
She wandered a long time trying to find somewhere to belong. Egypt never really felt right for her, but her instincts to protect treasure had her stay there. She's generally goofy, but it's a front to hide a intelligent individual who's just, personable and a excellent judge of character, though she also may protect individuals more fervently than studying the bigger picture.
If she ends up around humans, she'll be generally completely confused by the current culture around sexy nagas and why so many people are wary of her trying to trick or seduce them, and annoyed by anyone who actually tries to move on her because she really doesn't want to figure out how to reject them politely. (She either has a sweetheart or just doesn't particularly care to find one.)
She's good friends with one of her companions, a horned Greacean Sphinx child named Sable, dousn't trust the motives of the dragon that travels with her, and there's about about a 50% percent chance she was the first one to call her companion Hati (the son of Fenrir who is destined to devour the moon) "Hotty", a nickname that has stuck to his never-ending annoyance. (If it wasn't him it was Sable. Whichever one of them it was, it was only a innocent play on words.)

lol no need for sorries, my friend! IRL comes first! But thank you!
Actually I've not! Are there any pieces you particularly recommend?
:0 I really hope that the deal works out for you! That would be very VERY cool to read! lol and I like the idea that she just liked the lore and culture and just started to paint herself to match! I also have a friend who uses a similar formula for his one character; after a rough and bumpy relationship with his father and a very strict culture, he effectively joined what was his species equivalent to a expeditionary force, and acts like a rather childish goof around new people to hide how smart he really is. I really enjoy a bit of complexity to characters like that, so if you do get a book deal, I think this just proves you have very good literary instincts!! I will wish you the absolute best of luck!
As far as that bit with the humans goes, I'd more than understand her there! Hopefully it wouldn't be something that happens to her too awful much. I mean, the sneaky phobia I can get to a point with biblical fears perhaps. Or just being weary of snakes in general! As far as her relationship status, if you don't mind my opinion, I'd say she's single if she puts on an act to hide how smart she is. To a degree, I'd almost wonder if she isn't a bit insecure with herself, and the act is more of a front to keep people at a distance that she's comfortable with.
I really like all the work you've put into her! Do you have artwork of her friends too? It sounds like you already have quite the solid cast of characters! The little bits of real life mythology sprinkled in is a very nice accent as well, to sort of ground it! I'd have to say, you're a very creative person and the original artist would be amiss not to give you the chance to let that imagination shine! I'm really glad, and consider myself fortunate to have seen this picture when I did!
