Another upload. A slightly late comic page.

So starting this past week it was decided I got Wednesdays off (yay!) but now have to work for ~12 hours on Thursdays.. (boo.)
So that threw off my scheduling a tad bit. Other than that, I like most of this page; especially the Lyulf.

Aki: "You're falling off your schedule!"
Me: "I know, I'm also trying to work on things for June that are super important is the thing..."
Aki: "You need to make time and focus on what you know you need to do.. Not random junk."
Me: "I know. I'll be better about it this upcoming month especially. I have like.. 5 different drawings I'll have to have done by the start of June and that's not including the big thing I hope to have available to show off."
Aki: "Just get it done. That's that, okay? No more slacking off; this is when you NEED to get it done."
Me: "I will, it's all important to me."
Aki: "Good, keep that mindset."

I'm sure I've said it elsewhere before but power is incredibly important in the Sraik army. Only through power and strength does one progress. In fact, aside from the general dying and having their apprentice take over, it's custom that the apprentice must defeat the general they are under in order to gain their title. Sometimes however, Generals haven't taken apprentices when they die (or unexpectedly are unable to continue being General.) In which case, a person who is deemed worthy of becoming the General must then prove themselves to become one. This is why Akire was upset at not having Alexander tell her she would be the next Magic general, because that means she would have defeated him. She also refuses to believe she's the real Magic General in some ways because if she accepts it, she admits fully that Alexander is dead (though he is..)
