Perhaps it's because she got in contact with it differently from the others.
Everyone we saw except her was contaminated via the Black Idol or what was on the Moon.
Instead Julia seems to have been infected by it when she drank some water on the planet after taking off her space suit.
I'm guessing the way she got infected is less "aggressive" than the other one.
