Models + textures were taken from Super Mario 64 'cuz it seemed like a better idea than spending hours trying to make my own.
Donkey Kong's retired, so I had to put someone else in his place.
Modeled and rendered in Blender.
Dunno what else to mention.

Ah, I get it now. I forgot that the NES version and original arcade had some slight differences. This is based on the original, whilst I played the NES port more.
Anywho, nitpicking aside this came out really well. As already mentioned the SM64 models look a bit odd when smoothed but considering resources and their limitations you did a damn fine job.

Perhaps, but without the subsurf, they looked really chunky and out of place.
Also, the models are in pieces in the game so the joints and intersections aren't smoothed as nicely as they could be. I probably could have welded those vertices together to make it all one connected model, but I like how much easier it is to pose this way.

Sorry, I'm being a jackass. I thought it was obvious that I'd replaced DK with Bowser since you can clearly see it there, and I added the comment that DK had retired. It just seemed odd that someone asked if I had done that when it's quite clear that I did.
Although if you want a better explanation for it, the scene I ripped Mario from also had Bowser in it, and I couldn't think of any games I had to grab a DK model from, so I just used him.
