I confess that this is rather belated. Then again, even if I finished on time I could not submit it any how due to the great Furaffinity blackout. LOL. ^\/^.

But I digress. I noticed that there is a lack of art for Saint Nicholas' Day and I decided to submit one myself. For all I know this is the first. LOL.

I drew D. Dan sleeping rather cute like not far from the boot he put out for Saint Nicholas to fill. Normally one puts out their shoe or a Sinterklaas bag, but D. Dan has not been drawn with shoes yet and a bag seemed too simple when the boot looked so nice. The boot was copied and pasted from his armor reference sheet. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2585685/ . Saves me time. LOL. ^\/^.

The idea for this picture came to me about six months ago when I viewed a picture by  sjq111 called Sleepy found at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2412602/ . After seeing it I was inspired to draw D. Dan in the same manner. I decided not long after to do a Saint Nicholas' Day picture and to wait till it would be appropriate to draw it and to allow time for my skills to improve. I am rather satisfied with the result.

At best I could add some holly on the 'Happy Saint Nicholas' Day' greeting, but that is unnecessary and I took too long doing this anyhow. LOL. ^\/^.
