Uhm. Simone Simons, who happens to be my favourite singer, is the singer of a Dutch symphonic metal band called Epica, which also happens to be my favourite band. :]
You should really go and check them out on Youtube and Myspace. Their new album "Design Your Universe", which was released just a few weeks ago, is pretty different in my opinion, so be sure to listen to some songs from different albums before judging them. :p
But from the looks, I'd say you should like them. ^_^
