Rise of the Yokai is a story series I came up with, in a world... well, time-wise the exact same we live in right now, but with a bit more liberties considering locations and magic

By the side effects of an ancient magic spell, an unknown number of Yokai had been summoned to today's Japan, destined to meet young [or not so young] men and women, chosen by the ancient spell as their perfect counterpart... or their soulmate so one fancies.
What they'll do with this 'gift' . . . well, only time will show
