This is no ordinary Venus Fly Trap. Heck, this plant is probably extraterrestrial in origin. Black Panther has fought off assorted animals but this organism is like a combination of flora and fauna. The vines overpower the mighty Black Panther and drag him closer to the pod which opens up, showing a pink and wet mouth which consumes it's prey. It's almost as if the plant-creature is saying "Relax, my little Panther. It will be over faster if you stop struggling"

T'Challa fights in vain, trying to prevent himself from entering the gaping mouth of the plant. But no matter how hard he struggled, the vines just tightened their grips and pulled him closer, the mouth opening wider.
