I like the second one. It's all about the high contrast stripes.
Hybrids are fun. My character is a hybrid of Snowleopard and Lion, which is admittedly not as interesting as scale x fur, but still I luff him. Sometimes he has wings too. They're feathery but I'm not sure what sort of bird they're from.
