It's easy to forget how long I've been working on a piece and feel kinda hopeless about it, but it's so helpful to do progress photos as I go to keep me from getting discouraged.
Update: This particular head is, at least temporarily, retired, from the fir core sculpture it was to be a part of. It is now wrapped in suran wrap, at the back of the desk :(
