The List Master of the Tiny Toon Adventures Fan Fiction Archive ( http://www.ttafans.com/HKUriah/index.html ) has been feeling under the weather as of late and so I felt I should cheer him up by giving his Avatar an upgrade.
From what I understand his Avatar is one of those strange cartoons from around the "Betty Boop" era of toondom. Referred to as a Gollywog they are fairly iconic of the timeframe.
Offhand there's not a lot I can do to upgrade a Gollywog and still keep the elements that make him unique, so he gets a fancy leather jacket bearing the Acme Loo Colors. It's a compromise between the sort of stylised jackets we saw in the Civial War and see in modern westerns as well as certain old flight Jackets. In short, it's my attempt at a very 'American' design.
Many might note the radical difference in the font I used for his name in opposition to all the other 'Posters'. I felt his Avatar deserved a little touch of nostalgia and used lettering popular in posters in the old days.
Offhand I hope he's pleased with the results.
On a side note, I couldn't help but notice the lack of 'Gollywog' in the species category. For shame FA. ;)

Well, I always prefered the term "inkblot" as that is how Bosko was described by his creators, Hugh Harman and Rudy Ising, aka Harman-Ising.
And of course, my character is based on Bosko. :)
I am not sure who came up with the term "gollywog" to describe inkblot type characters, but it seems to be have some limited traction.
Anywhoo, thank much for the drawing. It is appreciated.
