Home is behind
The world ahead
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadow
To the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight
Mist and shadow
Cloud and shade
All shall fade
All shall - fade.
Reading too much Lord of the Rings lately. And someone pointed out this song that Pippin sings in the movie and, well...Here's the end result. XP Which is weird, because now I get a different feeling from that song...Hmm...
I think her name will be Luna after all.

Honestly? I get a more hopeful feeling usually. I'm not sure why exactly, because it -is- a sad, emotional song...But its almost like, in my head at least, the opposite of what the song saying is true. Its like I like it, because I don't believe what it says, especially on the part "All shall fade".
If I was to draw something for that, it would probably be a soldier of some sort, LOTR-style, beaten and battered with his comrades fallen all around him...But he's still standing and all is dark, and he's in the shadow of something huge. And even though he's tired, his eyes are still bright, and he's still holding his sword in his hand. I'd probably call it "Aure Entuluva! The Light will come again!" or something. *has been reading too much Lord of the Rings* XD

Yep! Decided to try and use her a bit more often. She'll pop up a few more places I think.
I really liked the film adaptation too! Its a really emotional scene in general...Though I could just see someone putting it up on Youtube and calling it "Hobbit sings an unfitting song while piggy man eats dinner." X3 He really was disgusting in that scene.
Same here with the rain too! I think it makes things feel "clean" afterwards though, if that makes any sense. Just sort of wash everything away.
