HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head has an amazing feel to put on I think a combo of balaclava and elastic makes the head feel like it pops into place when completely slipped on and doesn't ever shift or fell loose in active wear. The mouth is placed directly in line with my noes and mouth allowing me to always breath cool air. While the head gets warm I have never broken a sweat while wearing. Vision was a slight issue when I first got the head, the mesh was over painted in areas causing dark areas that resulted in eye strain after minutes of wear. However picking off the heavy layered areas (mainly where pure white was painted) opened up the mesh and allowed for really great vision.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
This head does amazingly in every category. The anatomy is appropriate for the species and well proportioned. Fur is shaved evenly in all areas and longer fur is well utilized to accent features. Fur and materials have a quality feel and are soft to the touch. Markings are 100% accurate to character reference, small areas of color change were transferred with no simplification. Expressions are aided by poseable magnetic eyelids and can be moved in to several expressions. Sewn teeth are placed realisticly and the mouth overall shows fine detail in small additions such as teeth having a realistic gumline and a small fabric bottom lip. Horns and ears are strongly attached.

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
The head includes needle felted detailing on areas of the horns and muzzle. A unique feature I'm unused to seeing in suits it does well to add a change in texture and add dimension to the areas it's applied.

How was your concept art realized?
My head is an exact match to my drawn reference. Fur and fabric colors were carefully chosen to match existing fursuit parts and the character.


How well does everything fit together and match up?
The head is fit together very well. Seams are very well placed and hidden. Markings have smooth steady edges.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
The maker was contacted though instagram where messages were responded to promptly and professionally. Maker frequently shared updates and allowed for critique and alterations throughout the fabrication process.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
All responses were within a reasonable time frame no more than 2 days at most.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
Interactions were moderately business like. Conversation was always focused on the project with an overall pleasant atmosphere.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I requested my project be done in an extreamly short timeframe. Maker showed consistent progress throughout. Completion date was surpassed by one month.


Are you happy with the product you received?
Overall I'm extramely happy all issues I've had with the suit are minor.
