Meet Casanova, my Lavender Het Stripe cornsnake. Isn't he a beautiful? His rich purple-ish color will probably fade to a more silvery hue as he gets older, but he's still a very pretty boy.

The thing that I love about him the most are his eyes--he's the only snake I've ever seen with -blue eyes-. They were reflecting some of the green blanket in this picture, so the color in the image is a bit deceptive--they're a pretty cornflower blue.

Along with the blue irises, he's got ruby pupils that do an amazing job of catching and reflecting the light; they almost look like they're glowing IRL.

When he's full grown, I'm going to breed him to one of my other snakes, a pretty little female by the name of Circuit:
