awww, you should try my cookies! I experiment with a dozen different recipes to get them all to come out right. The salty chocolate ones aren't ready yet, and this year I'm gonna try Ginger Sugar cookies and Lemon-Lime zesty ones, and superhealthy ones with dried goji berries and blueberries and turmeric, but the peppermint-chocolate swirl ones are great, as are the "Cherry Coke" frosted ones!

If these are all legitimate recipes, I would LOVE to know how to make them!

every single one is legitimate, but really it's all about making a sugar cookie dough, a LOOOOOOOT of sugar cookie dough, and doleing it out into different projects by adding different ingredients. It's just two sticks of butter and a cup of sugar beaten until the mixture is a light color, then you add in an egg and a teaspoon of milk, and after that three cups of flour sifted together with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder, Non-aluminum if you can find it. beat until it forms a dough-like consistency, divide into two squares, and chill for two hours. Makes two batches, and you can experiment how you like. add lemon and lime oils, the zest of one lemon and one lime, and voila - a new kind of cookie. mix in peppermint extract and a half a cup crushed candy canes, voila. Mix in crystallized ginger and some red sugar, or some carob, or some sea salt and melted chocolate chips, or some coke syrup, you can find at a restaurant supply store, and voila.
