So this began as an interesting though around winter time. Want to say close to Xmas holiday time.

When I first started to plan out Kane and really want to create a Fursona bear was one of my top for the choice along with Wolf and Badger.

The reason was in person I probably look more like a bear than a wolf XD but like wolf is my spirit guide bear is a totem that comes up in my life a lot. Badger was thought of due to their shape-shifting powers in Irish mythology.

So after much thought and even a poll I decided to add onto Kane's canon and story as it were.

During one of his adventures he became seriously injured after an encounter with some hunters that were after him. He was in the dense wooded mountains of a far off land. Needing to find shelter during a winter storm that was starting to form he found himself drawn to a cave. Inside he found an altar a long lost bear spirit. Slowly succumbing to his wounds the spirit approached him and offered him a deal.

"Healing and the ability to endure the storm for allowing me to reside within you."

Kane agreed and the bear spirit formed an enchanted paw necklace that he now wears. The spirit entered Kane's body much to Fenrir's disgust.

When he awoke the next day he found himself feeling extremely warm and heavy. When he gazed down at his body he found it had grown much larger. Gone were his lupine traits and instead replaced with ursine. Even his armor and sword had morphed and transformed to accommodate his new form.

The spirit was pleased to finally leave this forgotten land and informed Kane that his body would only look like this during the winter months unless something else would happen.

And there we have it! During the Winter and maybe Fall Kane may become a big ole bear! I really like this idea so will see if it sticks :3
