Although Cinderella Nine is theoretically a sports drama, I didn't really get any sports action vibes from its first episode. Instead it feels like it's modeled after Love Live. Throughout the whole premiere, I got the feeling that this show is clearly trying to capture the charm and energy that made Love Live such a hit. Unfortunately, it's decidedly lacking in anything close to that charm and energy.
