I broke my freaking apple pencil last night when I tried to get up. I tripped and pretty much catapulted my freaking pen into the hardwood floor so it snapped some stuff around the nib. = w=;; entirely my fault but WAHH!!
I was extremely upset and broken up about it last night so prov just... babied to death. Gave me shoulder/back rubs to feel better, got me alcohol and ICE CREAM to cheer up with, then he took me and the pencil to the store to see if we could repair it. ;;
Sadly it is busted, buuuuut the peeps at the store totally got the broken plastic nib out for me and explained I should just take it in for repairs, don't explain I dropped it, and hopefully I'll have TWO apple pencils ready to go. Since we couldn't repair it instantly or leave it their, Provinite just bought me a new one (still planning to repair our first one so we always have back up pens!) just like the desktop work space!
I can't believe it. It's the worst time of year for me recovering, taxes always strangle us SO HARD we never have any bonus cash until june?? but this year.. we just... really worked hard and really piled as much as we could into savings. Taxes actually were handled slowly but we only had to pay in like half of our savings. We have our buffer still and we are eating and ?? we're okaY? ITS SPRING AND WE'RE OKAY IT'S SO WEIRD !!!
Just really floored right now by all the wonderful things that slowly coming together and making our lives easier lil by lil. I'm so freaking grateful we managed to make it this far and so grateful we could even afford to buy me a second apple pencil (the most extreme luxury!!!) AHHHHH IM SO GRATEFUL THANK YOU BEAR!!!!!!

Duder I feel you, I dropped and busted my age 4+ phone this morning so gave in and finally got a new one (my lovely partner headed out and picked one up for me today also) ;0; Goodbye some savings unexpectedly >_< but it was long overdue anyway haha!
The old phone still works okay-ish but I've been coping with tapping glitchiness for 2+ years when I broke the screen the FIRST time (I'm very clumsy...) and it just made it worse today, so It just feels so good to be able to actually type and not have it tap the otherside of the screen shfjkdfhgjk
I'm so glad you were able to get a new pencil and I hope that you guys continue to be okay! Tax season is the worsttt!

I feel it though - sometimes I have the absolute worst luck with stuff in such a way that it feels like it can only happen to me.. qvq;; I'm really glad you got a new pencil and that you're overall just doing..better!!
