It's not common knowledge that Bahnir is the son of an incredibly gifted witch and a demon she imprisoned and used for several experiments on the nature of Divinity. Due to these experiments our favorite brute and his brother Dake have several arcane abilities. Bahnir got an innate comprenhension of magick and the ability to call upon a "Demon Form" that enhances all his already impressive physical capabilities. This kind of power is pretty needed when he has to travel the planes.

Oh, and the hammer? That's his personal weapon, forged by himself. A warhammer called Meteor.
