Every fun collage themed story needs some kind of Antagonist. And here's two! Redd Velvet's life long rivals. And one of the biggest pains in her butt. The mean cat witch duo Sophia (to the left) and Hilda (to the right)

The life of a witch in their world is a very competitive one. Magic comes from ones inner strength. And so many of them tend to focus on them selfs when it comes to magic. Even Redd Velvet is no exception to this. These two take it to a higher level. The two of them over the years have become very skilled in all sorts of high level spells that many around them would have more trouble getting used to. Not only that but they seem to have a natural talent for combat based magic. Witch is even more diffacult to pull of them most spells. But for them It's as easy for them as breathing.

As for the witches them selfs, First of you have Sophia. If one word can describe her it's pride. One of the most self centered witches of all. At least that's what Redd says. Witch is not far off. Sophia tends to brag about how much better she is at so many things. Magic, knowlage, natural beauty, outfits, her attitude. And pretty much everything else that would make her sound like she has a leg up on everyone, all while trying to come off with a cool natured. (Much to their annoyance) She would often be seen agruing with Redd about who's the better witch. Though unlike many around her that boast about their skills she can actully back that up. She got into the same collage as Redd just from her skills as a witch alone. And she's still only getting better at it. Though this has led to her not being able to see the bigger picture in most things often. Some times making a bit of a fool of her self even ever humbled. That still doesn't mean she will learn her lesson every time though. Only when it suits her really.

And then there's her very loyal right hand gal, and partner.
The very prickly Hilda. Ever since they were kids they have alway been by each other's side. Causing problems for many around them with their schemes. She is just as self centered as her friend but unlike her she comes off more as more angery and prone to yelling than her. In fact she's more known for her anger issues than anything else besides her magic talent. Making her look more like a angery lacky to many than a partner. But she is not to be toyed with. With all that anger she's not only passive aggressive, but also very active aggressive to. Often taking on others in short magic duals. And winning. Call her a lacky and she's gonna snap as fast as soon as the word is said.

As for their friendship, she only ever answers to Sophia's demands with a genuine smile. Many in their position would fake the friendship to get popluar and look cool but they actully do love hanging out with each other. And so they have become a pretty tight duo. Playing to each other's strengths and weaknesses in both Magic skills and life skills. Becoming one of the most effective witch duo's in their home city of Zincite. When one of them is near the other is not far behind. Litrally. Hilda is usually right there with Sophia where ever she goes. And Sophia doesn't mind at all. Even if she is prone to anger. In her words "I like a girl with fire in her soul. It's just the kind of partner I need!" And Hilda takes full pride in that. Often being the first to defend Sophia's honor. Insult her beloved bestie. And that's the fastest way to get Hilda at her angriest. and loudest.

A fun facts about their friendship. They are close enough to the point where Sophia let's Hilda always every time call her by her nick name Sophie. And Hilda let's Sophia tell her what ever to do. Something she doesn't let many do. In fact they are so close. Many see it as very obvious that they are more than just friends. When they are seen getting along very well they do a poor job hiding that they are flirting. Yet again when alone they are the types to get very cuddly. Many smooches are included. They mite be pretty mean and prickly to many but many won't deny that they do make a cute couple to. It mite be one of the only things that Redd admits to only her self that she's jealous of them for many years.
