This page started out as something pretty boring and then I had the idea for Mort to roll over which was fun. It made my life so much more complicated, and involved redrawing most of the page, but it was worth it. XD And I’m sure this is riddled with anatomical impossibilities, but I -don’t- care. Mort is magical. Moving on…
But yeah, fun fact, I tend to reference lions and tigers for Mort’s poses as much, if not more often than wolves.

(my comment is more about page 72 that the page featured) Mort is so delightfully scary! It's so good that Noah rightfully just cowers and hopes he isn't thought of, and even better that Mort first angrily challenges the amulet instead of demanding that Noah provide answers. You're writing this beast to be perfectly scary and believable.
Also when Mort held out his paw a couple pages ago and told Noah to give it to him, I had a sinking story-experience feeling that despite his powerlessness and near death experience Noah was going to say "no", because other comparably lame stories always use moments of decision like this to cue a just-in-time twist. On the next page I was so delighted to see that you hadn't done that, the narrative was due something unexpected but it wasn't that vomit's place to initiate it. I think you're really really good at this, I'm so glad you don't seem to be slowing down! Fantastic comic, I hope Mort sticks around in our fandom for decades to come.

Yeah, I can see where that would have been a place to do that, but it's not really in Noah's character yet to be defiant, and it wouldn't serve a purpose- and he knows that. He might not be the brightest bulb, but he knows better than to outright deny Mort what he's already seen and knows is real. The problem, and the reason for the hesitation is that he doesn't trust Mort to follow through, so he's expecting him to get the amulet and just eat him after. WHICH IS VALID. XD
Also I may have been drawing vore for four years now, but the idea of a character being vomit is still incredibly novel and hilarious to me. lol
Awww thank you!! I hope I continue to meet expectations! :D
