One year ago I embarked on two special works to expand upon my prize winning story, Zarra's Great Adventure. In doing so, the follow-up stories of Zarra's New Friend and Caldma's Holiday were created.
Zarra's Great Adventure told the tale of Zarra the Royal Zafara as she longed for something better in her life than simply caring for the Baby Scorchio, Caldma. Her ambition to experience bigger and better things brings a faerie to visit her and give her the opportunity to do so. However, the results of such an experience aren't quite what she had hoped for.
Zarra's New Friend continues the tale of Zarra and Caldma as she struggles to care for the Baby Scorchio who once was an actual, full-grown Scorchio up until experiencing a regressive reaction to the Baby Paint Brush. It is during this particular tale that she encounters Deathblade Blackfire, DB for short, who has a lot more in common with her than she could've ever imagined. Sadly, though, the Neopian Pound is after him and it is uncertain if Zarra can do anything to help the wayward Zafara before it is too late.
Caldma's Holiday takes on the perspective of Caldma, the Baby Scorchio as he struggles to regain the self he lost during the incident with the Baby Paint Brush. Can he finally overcome what the brush has done to him? Will he ever be able to thank Zarra enough for what she has done for him all this time? Only time will tell!

Ehehe, I remember commenting about Zarra's story just a few hours ago! 8D Ehehe, it's fune to revisit old work - though, it's really not that old either. (: And ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I think DB looks adorable here! :D He looks all happy and jumpy and dancing in his new form. (: Super cute!

I'm really glad you liked how DB came out. Of the lot, I am definately most happy with how he turned out. Honestly, how can you blame him for being so happy either? He did get saved from the Neopian Pound thanks to Zarra and Caldma. Good times!
Right now, I'm finishing up touches to Creative Campaign 2's 21st and 22nd episode. With any luck, I should have one of the new ones going live here either tonight, or at latest, tomorrow. Amazing how much writing and creativity has happened since Zarra and her friend's finished their adventures. :)

Caldma is quite the lucky, little fellow isn't he? Not only did he manage to retain his adult powers and mind when he painted himself baby, but he also now has the luxury of being as cute and cuddly as he wants in order to either fool his enemies, or get free treats at the store. :)

I'm glad you liked how this cover page came out. I've been meaning for a long time to give Zarra and company a proper image to show off their adventures. :)
Each story is equally fun and filled with adorable, baby scorchio fun that seems to never get old to a certain, loving, royal zafara. It's just fun to see how close friendships can grow from the most unique of circumstances. :)

It makes me very happy to hear that. Especially since, back when the contest was open, I almost didn't enter it and, thus, Zarra's Great Adventure almost never came to be. :)
Honestly, I'm not much of a fan-fic fellow either. However, in the case of these guys, I thought it worthy to make an exception to tell a tale in which only these characters would be capable of telling. The fact it all turned out so well makes me very happy and glad I did.
